Zoo Trip before school starts

Our annual before school zoo trip happened this weekend, on Labor Day Weekend, along with the other forty five million other people at the zoo. Here are some pictures.

The Grossology Exhibit at Pacific Science Center

We went to the Grossology exhibit at Pacific Science Center today and spent an inordinate amount of time learning about all kinds of bodily functions, their origins, etc.
Fun time had by all.

Then we spent a bunch of time with a flock (are they a flock?) of butterflies.

Crazy us, after many years of telling the girls that there was NO WAY on God's Green Earth that we would get a dog (OK, it was mainly me saying that), we got a dog.

3/4 border collie, 1/4 German Shepherd.

Aquarium Trip

In between sicknesses, baseball meetings, tball practices, softball practices and games, we made a trip to the Seattle Aquarium. It's changed quite a bit since we were last there, and we had a great time. The weather was fabulous, but cold. The animals didn't seem to mind that it was cold. Neither did the girls.

Beth and Lexie and Devon and his dad Bryon went to the pumpkin patch with their preschool class today, and Lexie said "We had a way lotta fun Daddy!".

Bryon's 40th Birthday Extravaganza

Our friend Becca had a surprise birthday party for her husband Bryon over Labor Day weekend and we were lucky enough to be invited.

In a house on Lake Goodwin, lots of friends, food and fun.

The girls got to go innertubing behind a speed boat (yes, even the Bear) and everyone survived unscathed.

Silverwood, a grand adventure

We spent a week camping in Montana, then we went to Silverwood water park/amusement park for a full 12 hour day. What a week.

Mini-Vacation to Soap Lake

Spent the last three days in Soap Lake with Bill and Judy. Golfing, swimming in the lake, getting eaten by no-see-um bugs (the last part was no fun).
