Blackberry Bold versus Blackberry Pearl

I have a Blackberry Pearl phone, which is a fantastic phone and fantastic smartphone.

It has Edge connectivity, which for what I use the phone for, which is phone calls, limited web browsing, RSS feeds, Twitter'ing and most importantly, email, works just fine.

Blackberry is in the process of releasing a new phone, called the Bold.  The Bold will have 3G connectivity.  High speed.  Very high speed, according to the reviews I've read.  Read a very extensive review of the Bold here

But although I am still in the trial period for my Pearl, and could trade it in for a Bold, I've decided that other than the full QWERTY keyboard, the 3G connectivity doesn't really serve a useful purpose for my needs.

But it looks like a REALLY nice phone.  If you have the need to purchase a new phone, and are considering an IPhone, and one of your main needs of use is email, I would strongly advise you look at the Blackberry Bold or Pearl instead.  It's a much better email experience, in my opinion.
